Saxophone Mutes There are two main types of saxophone mutes to choose from. There are complete systems like the one pictures to the left that lets you play at full volume and remain at whisper level. They have different modes of digital echo that add ambience to enhance sound quality. A line out allows you to send the sound directly to a recording device or sound board and a built-in metronome puts a click into your headphones.
